This was our first stop in Greece and this booking was a replacement for an earlier booking that left us uneasy before arriving (no front desk, no response to emails, no ability to confirm late arrival check in etc). The Athens Key Hotel overcame all of these concerns and provided much more… • Athens Key Hotel staff were excellent. Understanding of travelers’ concerns and interests. Accommodating when they could. • Pre-arrival communications: timely, responsive, clear and informative. • The room was super small but well-appointed and made good use of the space. Comfortable bed and shower facilities. • The included breakfast (rooftop location cool) was good to have available – but there was no hot / fresh station but a lovely mix of continental style items (buns, cereals, cold cuts and cheeses, juices coffee etc). For a quick 2-day visit, not knowing the city etc, it was comforting to have an initial meal before we set out to explore • Location – excellent. Central and walking distance to Monastiraki, Placa district, and several metros to get easily to the Acropolis and other areas. If you want to come in from the airport to Athens Key Hotel by metro, there is a stop on the main line a couple of blocks away. • Overall – worth the money for the location, cleanliness and peace of mind arriving as a non-Greek speaking first time traveler to Greece. Not quite a 5 star hotel given above limitations

Chrysa at the front desk and her team were very attentive. Our pick up fr the port (8 of us) was arranged by the hotel and the ride was a pleasant experience in a big van for 8 pax and 16 luggages! We had a long wait though under the morning sun at Piraeus because according to the driver, traffic was bad. (Not an excuse tho. If pick up time was set at 9:30, driver should have left early). The transfer to the airport arranged by the hotel was on time and the ride was pleasant in a very clean car. The breakfast buffet at the 10th floor was a delight. We had a view of the Acropolis! Location was good, Close to the Hop on Hop Off station and the main historical sites. Thanks for the warm reception!

The hotel is lovely and the rooms are so comfortable and quiet. The staff was excellent and they were so helpful with tips and advice on how to make the most of our days in Athens. I would really recommend this hotel as they really took care of us! Whilst the location of the hotel is not really in the midst of all the tourist attractions, there is a metro station really close to it which takes you straight into the centre of all the action and if you decide to walk instead, the walk through the neighbourhood via Akadimias and through the National Garden is lovely and hives a very nice feel for the city.

The hotel was only five minutes walking distance from Omonoia Square metro station. Which made it easy to travel around Athens. It was also 7 minute walk from the National Archaeological museum which is worth a visit. The hotel was clean, rooms were well laid out and of a good size. Staff were exceptionally helpful, such as lending us a plug adapter as we had forgotten to bring one. The view of Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant was stunning. The service was great and Dina always seemed to have a smile on her face. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We had a warm welcome from the staff at reception. They gave us a welcome drink, explained everything, and even helped us with the parking, which was a big plus. The room had everything we needed; breakfast was varied and fresh. The location was also good because you could walk to the main attractions but also take the metro, which was a 5-minute' walk. All in all, I recommend it for a few nights in Athens.
